Tom Turney is an Executive Coach with over 19 years of experience successfully helping leaders improve their overall personal and organizational effectiveness. His background includes assisting CEO’s, executives, and managers in companies ranging from small, privately held companies to large billion dollar companies.
With years of profit and loss (P&L) responsibility, Tom knows firsthand the difficulties of today’s leadership challenges having been an effective executive running large organizations within Hewlett-Packard and Agilent Technologies during both ideal and difficult business cycles. He has had the honor of coaching, and training some of the best leaders at HP and Agilent Technologies. Tom has led all aspects of business including marketing, product development (R&D), sales, call center operations, and delivery of complex products and support services. Tom’s experience coaching executives, along with his practical, corporate experience has equipped him to help leaders maximize their personal effectiveness.
Tom assists leaders in taking back control of their lives and learning to enjoy the adventure and fun of being a true leader, inspiring themselves, their staffs, and co-workers to accomplish the truly remarkable. Tom has always led a very active and balanced life, enjoying backpacking, fishing, hunting, martial arts, skiing, and mountain biking with both his wife of twenty years and his daughter. Tom incorporates life lessons from these activities in coaching executives to achieve maximum effectiveness.
